The public is hereby notified that due to the anticipated heavy rains and the rising water level, all residents living along riverbanks and other flood prone areas within Kitengela municipality are advised to evacuate immediately to safer, higher grounds.

This precautionary measure is issued to safeguard lives and property against potential flooding risk.

AFFECTED AREAS & ACTIONS

Specific Risk Areas: Temporary illegal structures along Deliverance Area, Korompoi River, Wama Estate Kyangombe, and surrounding areas.

Compliance: Any illegal structures obstructing water flows will be brought down.
