Effective March 10, 2025, Kitengela Municipality will assume full responsibility for development control functions, as announced by the County Government of Kajiado. This move, in line with the gazetted devolved functions, aims to streamline development approvals, enhance compliance with planning regulations, and promote sustainable urban development. Developers and property owners are advised to submit all applications for development permissions, construction approvals, and related matters to the Kitengela Municipal offices, Physical Planning and Development Control Directorate.
