The County Government of Kajiado hereby gives notice to members of the public and property owners regarding the completion of the Draft Rating Bill 2024. Prepared in compliance with Section 266 / 267 of rating laws and Section 34(5)(a) of the National Rating Act 2024, the law mandates public consultation prior to operationalizing the valuation framework.
To ensure inclusive participation, public forums have been scheduled across all sub-counties. Residents and property owners in Kitengela (Kajiado East Sub-County) are invited to participate as detailed below:

Agenda & Objectives:

Informing the public on the completion of the Draft Rating Bill.

Notifying stakeholders that the draft has been submitted to the Chief Government Valuer for statutory approval.

Presenting approved rating forms applicable across administrative boundaries.

Outlining procedures for public inspection of the Draft Valuation Roll at designated sub-county centers, with subsequent inspection notices to be published in daily newspapers.
